Camino de mesa de Julia, también hecho con la regla x blocks mini, lo quería para ponerlo sobre un mueble muy estrecho,  con esta  regla ha encontrado el tamaña que necesitaba, el entrelazado es distinto al de la cartera que tengo en este blog, como decía, admite un montón de variaciones, todas ellas preciosas y para todos los gustos, en este caso los tonos elegidos son muy acertados, combinan muy bien haciendo que el resultado sea el que se muestra, muy bonito.

Julia made this table runner with a rule for mini blocks.  She made it to put it on in a very narrow piece of furniture.  With this rule she was able to achieve the correct dimensions.  The interleaving is different from the hand purse that you can see in this blog.  As I said it admits a lot of variations, all beautiful and for al tastes.  In this case, the colors are very successful,  making the end job very nice.

Gorro tamaño adulto, por casualidad encontré en una tienda de manualidades un libro donde explicaba como hacerlos, me pareció interesante y lo compre, de momento he hecho estos dos modelos, aunque hay varios mas, este me gusta mucho, es para mi. El de abajo fue el primero y no controlé bien las medidas por lo que me quedó tamaño de bebé, al final Merche se encaprichó de el y fue a parar a la cabecita de su nieta Noor de 3 meses, está preciosa con el. Ya tengo algunos encargos, los iré mostrando según los vaya terminando.

Adult size hat.  By chance I found a book in a craft store that explained how to make them, I found it interesting and bought it.  So far I have made these two models, although there are several more.  I really like this one, it is for me. The one in the bottom was the first one I did but I did not have the correct measures so it ended up being a baby hat.  Merche really liked it and the hat ended on the head of his 3 months old granddaughter and it looks great on her.  I already have some orders and I will post them as I finish them.

Distintos modelos de carteras, todas con tres compartimentos, uno con cremallera para las monedas, en varios colores y tejidos. Muy facilitas de hacer, un bonito detalle para regalar.

Different models of hand purses,  each with three compartments, one zippered for coins.  They are done in various colors and fabrics. They are very easy to make and they are a nice gift to give away.

Cartera realizada con la regla X blocks. En el festival de patchwork de Sitges compré dos una tamaño mini y otra mediana, esta cartera está hecha con la mini, se compone de 4 cuartos que se unen haciendo distintos distinto entrelazados, allí mismo me explicaron como hacerlo, al principio suena un poco complicado,  para cuando se han hecho dos o tres la cosa se ve de otra manera.

Como veréis, en la foto de arriba, he hecho la parte delantera distinta a la trasera para que se vean dos de las múltiples formas que se pueden dar. Esta técnica me encanta y da mucho juego, es ideal para hacer caminos de mesa y por supuesto para cualquier otro trabajo.

Hand purse made with the rule X blocks. During the Sitges patchwork festival, I bought two hand purses, one small and one medium size. This hand purse is a small one and it consists of 4 squares that are joined using different interlaced. At Sitges, I was able to learn this technique. At first I thought it was difficult but after making a couple of them I realized it wasn’t that difficult.


As you see in the picture above, I made the front different from the back so you can see a different ways to make the hand purse. I love this technique! It is ideal to make table runners and of course for any other type of jobs.

Colcha realizada por Julia, se ha esmerado en el acolchado, parte ha sido libre, otro con doble arrastre y parte manual. Las aplicaciones con puntada invisible a mano. La colcha ha quedado preciosa, ha puesto mucho cariño en ella, en realidad lo pone en todo lo que hace, pero esta especialmente por ser para un recién nacido de la familia.

This quilt was made ​​by Julia. She worked very hard on the quilting. Part of the quilting was free, another double drag and other parts manually. The applications are done using blind stitching by hand. The quilt looks great. She put a lot of love on the quilt. The truth is that Julia always puts love into everything she does, but more so on this one because it is for a newborn in the family.

Trabajos realizados con la técnica de aplicación a máquina, precioso, lo aprendí en un curso de Eva Gustems, fue un día maravilloso con Eva, tan cercana y agradable, por el buen ambiente entre las participantes, entre las que se contaba mi amiga Conchi  y por el  trabajo realizado. Se trata de aplicación sobre lino a máquina con puntada invisible, los detalles bordados, también a máquina con hilo de lana. Tanto el faro como la casita están realizados con la misma técnica.

Work performed using sewing machine, lovely, I learned it in a course given by Eva Gustems.  It was a wonderful day with Eva, very nice, good atmosphere among the participants, including my friend Conchi, and great work done by everybody.  The work is done on linen with invisible stitch.  The embroidery details are also done on the sewing machine with wool yarn. Both the lighthouse and the cottage are done using the same technique.
